Just like the name says! 2016 Years aged in a loose leaf form from a Menghai wet piling batch of Ripe Pu-erh was stuffed in a tangerine and cured for several months! The taste is aged and elegant fragrance!
The white frost on the surface is actually similar to the formation mechanism of fruit cream. The white frost as known as “Brain Crystal (Nao Jing)” or “Citrus Oil Crystal (Gan You Jing)”. This white substance is not caused by mold, but is a white powdery substance formed by the citrus oil of the peel produced in the core area after being dried or baked at a low temperature for a long time. However, not all the types of Mandarin Orange Pu-erh will have this layer of white frost.
