Brisk, complex and smooth with a sweet aftertaste, this highly aromatic "Qun Ti Xiang" exhibits notes of mango, lychee and honey.
Why we love it:
- It's a High Mountain Dan Cong plucked from Phoenix Mountain (鳳凰山) 50 year old tea trees! Often described as "drinkable perfume".
- The tea grows in a biodiverse environment with mineral-rich soils, which translates to extra layers and complexity in the flavour of the tea.
- The brewed tea is creamy, sweet and thick with a long lasting osmanthus after-taste. It's amazing to taste such but yet entirely natural with no additives.
Spring harvest is April, and the Winter harvest is in November/December.
